This class is designed to help solidify your dog’s understanding of what’s expected on a daily basis. Dogs and puppies over 6 months of age and owners who have never taken a group training class should start here. It’s also a great class for dogs that may need a little more confidence!
If your puppy is still under 1 year of age at the end of the class, you can take the AKC evaluation and earn the STAR Puppy distinction. More info can be found here:

Skills taught in this class include:
- Sit
- Down
- Walk on politely on a leash
- Stay (30 seconds on leash)
- Stay with another person
- Handle for grooming
- Solutions to common problems
