Hunting for antlers is another great way to use our dog’s sense of smell for fun and adventure!
Several organizations including UKC and NASDA now offer shed competitions! But if you like to hike it can also be a fun way to find some trophies!
This four-week module will introduce your dog to shed antlers and develop the concept of seeking and finding them based on their scent. We will start indoors but quickly move onto the big field for large area searches.
Prerequisites: Your dog must be comfortable in a crate, must be good around dogs and people, prefer prior search/nosework experience, and prefer having taken a Basic Manners class.
