Prerequisite: Completion of NoseWork 1 AND 2 classes, or instructor approval.
As we progress, the searches become more complex…more distractions, different heights and depths. Container, Interior, Exterior, Buried, Vehicle and Handler Discrimination searches will be covered. Odors used will vary and blind hides will be introduced as dogs become more confident. We will also work on refining the alert signs given by your dog. This class prepares the teams for competition, and is also applicable for those who want to improve teamwork in the sport. We may take the show “on the road” to different locations to help the dogs generalize the game.
