FETCH DOG SEMINAR with DeAnn Nelson

Time: Session 1 – 9:00 am to 11:00 am Session 2 – 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Cost: $40 per dog/handler team $10 Auditing
There will be 8-working spots per session with unlimited auditing spots.
At this seminar you will learn the following:
- Learn the rules for Novice and Intermediate Fetch Dog levels.
- Discuss the set up and how to throw the toy and run the dog.
- Talk about how to set up a trial.
- Discuss the types of items that can be thrown.
- How to handle your dog when you are up to throw.
- Practice throwing sessions (at least 2 at Novice and if time, a throw at Intermediate).
- Seminar working participants will receive a coupon for $20 off one entry at a Fetch Dog trail sponsored by CBDTC
Prerequisites: Dog must be able to (mostly reliably) retrieve and return to handler with toy. Dog does not need to retrieve to hand, nor do they need to be solid at the start line. Dog must be comfortable being crated while waiting and must be current on vaccinations.
